I just picked up Bernice McFadden's lastest, Glorious. She's another one of my favorite authors. I loved Sugar Sugar: A Novel. It's one of my favorite books, ever. Sugar, from what I know, was her first book. I'll let you know what I think of Glorious in a few days. Have a great weekend folks! It's supposed to be great here.

ReplyDeleteLOVED it! Easter had an interesting journey and wasn't afraid to move on and try new things!
I love all of Bernice McFadden/Geneva Holiday's books anyway. In her notes towards the end I was surprised to see her say she had a hard time finding a home for this book. I know the story is different than the type of fiction she normally writes, but it was still a good read.

ReplyDeleteMy review of Glorious is the post right after this one. It was a great read. I haven't read Geneva Holiday's books yet, although I know that McFadden's alter ego. I plan on it though. There's SO much to read out there! Thanks for checking me out.
